This policy says what we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it — in plain terms we are willing to be held to.
Toolforge (“Toolforge,” “we,” “us”) is a digital-marketing analytics and automation practice based in Seattle, Washington, reachable at [email protected]. This policy covers the toolforge.ai website and the internal software tools we operate to serve client accounts under our management.
If you contact us through the site, we receive what you send: your name, your email address, and your message. We use it to reply to you. That is its only use.
Like nearly every website, our infrastructure keeps standard technical logs and first-party visit measurements — pages viewed, timestamps, browser type, and coarse network information. We use these to understand site traffic and keep the site working. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent any of this information to anyone.
We build and operate internal tools that connect to Google services — including Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics — on behalf of client accounts that have engaged us and authorized that access. Through those connections our tools access advertising and performance data for those accounts: campaign metrics, keyword and search-term data, account settings, and related reporting fields.
We use that data for exactly one purpose: operating, administering, and reporting on the engaged client’s own accounts. Each client’s data is used for that client alone. We do not combine one client’s data with another’s, we do not use client data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it, license it, or transfer it to data brokers — ever.
Toolforge’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data our tools collect is stored in access-restricted Google Cloud infrastructure (including BigQuery) under our control. Access is limited to Toolforge personnel who need it to serve the relevant client, credentials are stored outside of source control, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest by the underlying platform.
We share data only with the infrastructure providers that host it (such as Google Cloud), with the client whose data it is, or when the law requires it. There are no other recipients.
We keep client account data while the engagement that authorized it is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. A client may request deletion of their data at any time by writing to [email protected]; we will delete it except where retention is legally required. You may make the same request about any personal information you have sent us through the site.
If we change this policy, the new version is posted at this address with a new effective date. Material changes to how we handle client data are communicated to affected clients directly.
